Strengths:	Removes unpleasant aftertases and makes nice clear ice cubes.
Weaknesses:	Did not last as long as manufacturer's claims.

Water tastes much better and looks crystal clear. I am confident that it is removing particles missed by our city treatment facility but I would really like to see how this filter performs as far as the removal of chlorine and fluoride. I did feel that due to light use the filter should have lasted longer. Perhaps the refrigerator is pre-programmed to display the filter warning at a set interval which was, in this case, earlier than the 6 month time frame.

Strengths:	Easy to install. No leaks. Water has greatly improved taste.
Weaknesses:	None that I have experienced except that the flow of water thru the filter is a little slow. I assume that is due to filtering.

This was my first filter replacement on this refrigerator. Overall, the replacement took about 2 minutes, 30 seconds to remove the old and install the new and 90 seconds to purge the system. I had no leaks. The whole process was much easier than replacing a filter on my previous refrigerator. The water tastes much better.

This is for my 2 year old Samsung Refridgerator that was purchased from Costco. I purchased a few from Amazon, Fridge Filters, FiltersFast. They all have been good. They work well for me for 4 - 6months for next replacement. Well it also depends on the usage. I recommend the product.
